PCAFA Pop-up Art Show and Sale at the Prow Gallery
1479 Lower Water Street, Halifax, NS
Victoria Day Weekend
Friday, May 19 through Sunday May 21, 2023
Participate in a group show and sale at one of Halifax’s leading new art galleries on the Halifax waterfront!
There is no theme for this show. Artists are invited to submit one, two dimensional work up to 864 square inches in size (this would allow for as large as 24″x36″). Three dimensional work is welcome, and jewellers may submit up to three pieces. Sales will be processed on site by the PCAFA and the gallery will receive 40% of proceeds with artists receiving 60%. Work will be collected, and unsold work returned, at a location in Tantallon.
Work will be collected and unsold work returned at the Saint Margaret’s Bay Community Enterprise Centre, Unit 1, 5229 St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Upper Tantallon, NS B3Z 4R5
Two dimensional work must be wired for hanging. Please package your work to protect it during transport to the gallery.
Plein air painters are invited to work outside of the gallery as well as along the harbour boardwalk during the show. There will be volunteers on hand for breaks and to collect finished works to be included in the show.
We will be seeking volunteers to help with collection of work, installation, gallery sitting and organizing/helping with the plein air opportunity. We will be sending a link to an online volunteer registration form closer to the time.
Please contact Phil Hodges at [email protected] to join our participants list and receive future updates about show details.
