Calling young artists!
Do you have a budding young artist at your house—or are you a grandparent, teacher or neighbour of a young artist?
We’re delighted to be introducing a new membership category with the Peggy’s Cove Area Art Society: a Youth Membership.
Students from Primary to Grade 12 are invited to join PCAAS as youth members. The cost is $15 per year. Students 15 years of age or younger must have permission of a parent or guardian to join.
Youth members will be eligible to participate in occasional group shows, and in individual and small-group exhibits at the St. Margaret’s Bay Community Enterprise Centre, the Tantallon Public Library, and the CUA-Tantallon Branch. They will also receive our monthly newsletter.
A kick-off youth art show is being planned for October 2024, at two locations: the Tantallon Branch of Halifax Public Libraries and the J.D. Shatford Memorial Library in Hubbards.
