Youth Membership

Do you have a budding young artist at your house—or are you a grandparent, teacher, art instructor, or neighbour of a young artist?

Consider helping them join the Peggy’s Cove Area Art Society as a Youth Member.

Students from Primary to Grade 12 are eligible to join. This membership is open to young people who like to make art and would enjoy sharing it—the level of experience and skill is not the point! The youth membership is $15 per year. Note that students 15 years of age or younger must have permission of a parent or guardian to join.

Youth members will be eligible to participate in occasional group shows, and in individual and small group exhibits at community locations. They will also receive our monthly newsletter.

A kick-off youth art show happened in 2024 for the month of October, at two locations: the Tantallon Branch of Halifax Public Libraries and the J.D. Shatford Memorial Library in Hubbards. In 2025 the art show was held at the Tantallon Halifax Public Library for the month of April.
