R J ‘s work is inspired by the wildlife and cultural aspects of life on St. Margaret’s Bay. Subjects include birds, mammals, seascapes, and sailboats. Paintings, prints, and cards are for sale.

A lifelong resident of Nova Scotia; artist R. J. Marchand is inspired by the natural world of his native province and beyond. For thirty years he has been working almost exclusively in Acrylics and Watercolourss. His work, which combines elements of both abstraction and realism, reflects the natural and cultural life in Nova Scotia, and can be found in professional offices and personal collections around the world.
