Connie Ivany’s work asks the viewer to envision the elements to trigger memories. Abstract/contemporary landscape artist painting in acrylics. Her style is multi-layered, intuitive and textural.
Connie’s work is a reflection of the visual stimulation of living on the ocean and its coastal beauty. Big sky, big water, rocks, and an endless array of colour. She is self-taught and participated in many classes with well known local artists. Balance, symmetry, flow, creativity are important in her life. She is a member of Crossroads Artists and PCAFA. “Creating visual work is my latest adventure, every picture tells a story”.
