Creating the Black Hole Sag A_26x22 in _Wool Fibre

Chris Trotter – Artist

Chris’s felting is inspired by vivid colours, wool and fabrics. Subjects include landscapes, water, beaches, people and animals. Her curiousity about life inspires many whimsical creations.

Chris is mostly a self taught felting, fibre and textile artist, who has taken a few workshops with master felters. She has an undergraduate degree in history and art history. Since retiring, she has embraced the world of felting and enhances her skills by trying new techniques. She has developed a unique style of felting, one where her wool layout meshes wool and fabrics together, to create lots of interesting texture in one-off pieces.
