Kate Brown – Salt Sky Studio
Kate’s work is inspired by the Maritimes and life by the sea. Utilizing bright colours and clean lines, she creates unique, textured acrylic artworks on wooden slats.
Salt Sky Studio is the collaboration of artist Kate Brown and her husband, BJ Brown. BJ handcrafts the frames and wood slats that serve as the canvas for Kate’s colourful, vibrant and textured artworks. Their artwork is influenced by the beauty of life by the sea and the unique culture of the Maritimes. Kate & BJ are juried members of Craft Nova Scotia, and active members of the Lunenburg Art Gallery Society. Commissions are welcome.
