Alexander Koltakov creates acrylic or oil on canvas in impressionist style paintings, depicting scenes of nature and people views, also his special interest is working with plaster on wood reliefs.
Alexander Koltakov is a Canadian artist, who was born in Crimea, USSR. During his school years, Koltakov studied painting in the art studio of Crimean artist, N. Papias. In Canada, Alexander took a number of art courses in Toronto School of Art, but mostly, he is a self-taught artist. The artworks of Alexander Koltakov are presented in art galleries of Nova Scotia and in private collections all over the world.
