Judith Obelnycki – Glen Artists
Judy works mainly in oil on stretched canvas, but also enjoys water colour, depending on her mood. Her works are inspired by the beautiful, rugged coastal scenes.
Born in Halifax, N.S., Judy loved drawing in her younger years, but as she grew older she dabbled in painting scenes. By this time she was living, working and raising a family in Ontario. Upon retiring and moving back to Nova Scotia, she became more serious about painting. She is an active member of the Peggy’s Cove Area Art Society and paints with other members at the Glen Artists Studio.
