The Beaton sisters are Nova Scotia born and grew up with a strong affinity for the sea. Their work reflects their love of nature on land and sea. Peggy has been painting off and on since her preteens, in watercolour and pastels. Lois began painting after taking early retirement from teaching and works in acrylics and watercolour.
