Janice Snair

The work is generally realistic in oil, Acrylics and embroidery thread and fabric. The subjects generally inspired by our incredible surroundings and finding joy in the everyday.

Janice attended NSCAD in the early ‘80’s, graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Environmental Planning. While always having an interest in creating things, these efforts were sidelined until early retirement provided the time and state-of-mind to pursue these interests with more vigour. Most of her work is based in realism with some conceptual art concepts. Most of her work conveys joyful subject matter, with a bright colour palette.
