Margaret Jones Callahan – Windhorse Studio

My art is based in a deep relationship to nature. The open spaces, big sky, and waters of NS inspire me to share the feeling and spirit of this place, making the invisible visible.

Margaret has exhibited in groups and solo since 2004. Her work includes several series: Radiance, The Road North, Night Skies of St. Margaret’s Bay, Colours of Nova Scotia, Fire Dancer, Mexican Light, and Big Brush Calligraphies. She has practiced and taught contemplative art and Mindfulness for 45 years. Her current work reflects her interest in the feminine and power. Her 2 books on art: The Sparks Guide and Provoking Sanity.
