Gretchen Amirault – Gretchen’s Studio

Gretchen paints mainly in oils, either plein air or in her studio. Her landscapes depict the beauty of the Maritimes, always trying to capture the light.

Gretchen is a NS artist working primarily in oils. She is mostly self taught but has taken courses locally over the years. Spending a lot of time in nature either sailing, kayaking, hiking or biking gives her lots of inspiration and subject matter for her art. Being creative with her hands has always been a part of her life, whether working with paints or fabrics. She has been a member of the Crossroad Artists Group for many years.
