Response to COVID-19

2020 Peggy’s Cove Area Festival of the Arts Update

We have monitored the latest news and updates from provincial and federal authorities in the hopes that we would be able to come together this summer. We know this pandemic is a devastating blow to our artists, friends, family and supporters, but the health of our community and everyone who participates in our festival is a priority for us.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must announce that the 2020 Peggy’s Cove Area Festival of the Arts will be cancelled until next year.  We are working hard to find a way where we can still all come together in some fashion to celebrate the art we love.  We hope to be able to share some cool ideas and information with you in the next little while.

We are planning for the 2021 PCAFA to run July 7 to 18, 2021, with a great lineup of special events.  Please follow us on Facebook and sign up for our e-news on our website.

Thank you to our board of Board of Directors, partners, volunteers and sponsors including The Chronicle Herald, Think Marketing, Shining Waters Marine, Office Interiors, CUA, Halcraft Printers, Survival Systems Training, and Nautel, along with our arts funders Canadian Heritage, Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova  Scotia Communities Culture and Heritage, St. Margaret’s Bay Regional Tourism Development Association, and Aspotogan Heritage Trust.  We truly value your ongoing support and words of encouragement in these unprecedented times.

On behalf of the Board and until we can connect again, stay safe and be well.
