A combination of wearable art and wool sculptures. Using dye, resists, and natural fibre to create fabric and 3D pieces that tell stories of ecological movement, environmental stress, and the spectrum of human emotion.
Elise is a fibre artist working with wool, silk, and other natural fibres to create sculptural and wearable art. Her focus in felting is to push wool as a medium to create contemporary connections through texture and form. Her work has been supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. She is an active member of local and national arts groups and has recently completed an artist residency in Chester, Nova Scotia.
